clewis32 I almost forgot, I also read about if you have bad credit you can't get in, is this true? I don't have many bills at this time, just a couple of past due credit cards.

clewis32 Hi, I am new too this forum and to idea of joining the Coast Guard. I have done some research on what it takes to join. Someone I know told me that if I had any question that this would be a good place to ask and the most accurate. So I have a couple of questions and hopefully you all can help. So hear we go.
1. I am 26 and its seems like it takes along time to get in, will I have time to get in to meet the age requirements of no older that 27?
2. I have a heart murmur, that I have known about sense high school but have been cleared in the past when playing high school and college ball.
3. I am two classes away from a four year degree in exercise science with this help?
4. just want to know anything that will help me get in.
5. Took the asvab before i got into college scored a 44, can I use that score still it was years ago.
6. Whats the avg ASVAB score
7.What can I do, before I see an recruiter to increase my chances
8. Will my age make a difference, regardless of what type of shape I am in
I know these are alot of questions but I want to know as much as possible about joining the Coast Guards as possible. I am very interested, just want to know more.
