    Ok, Here is an interesting little bit of trivia. Where did the term "get there early to beat the rush" come from?

    That is very cool .... I thought ...something with the tides or Gold Rush. Google came up with a site that has all sorts of nautical sayings that we use today. Thanks

    Indeed it is nautical. It came from illegal trade and the Cutter Rush.
