My boyfriend just left for bootcamp today, August 12, 2014. I know he won't be able to write that much or anything and I'm not really expecting to hear much from him. I am wanting to write him though to just encourage him and help me stay sane as well. I know he is suppose to graduate the first or second week in October but I'm not 100% sure. I was wondering though I know the address to send the mail I just don't know his company name or hall. How exactly do I find that information out? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Both in this secton (Coast Guard Family's) and the FAQ area, there is a link to the official USCG.MIL site with helpful information. That includes company and hall names and graduation dates. I also update it weekly and post the info there along with that link to the site. I have attached the link to our thread. Begin writing when you like. Understand they will probably not receive mail until next week some time and they are only allowed to write on Sunday's during divine hours. Graduation for G190 will be October 3rd. You could number the outside of the envelopes. This way if there is a stock pile of letters delievered he knows open 1, then 2, then 3 etc. I also heard one girl worked it out with mom and grandma, she used pink envelopes, mom used green, grandma used white... this way before even opening the letters, he knew who had sent him one that day. Congratulations and welcome aboard.
