Hi - If I Have a late summer boot camp and decide to end my summer early - What would be my chances of leaving early? If you were my recruiter and I called you - what would you do ..... say to me? Thank you

At this point, very slim. Your recruiter will be your best avenue for accurate advice.
I wish you the best of luck and welcome aboard!
I, for one, welcome our new insect overlords. I'd like to remind them that as a trusted Coastie, I can be helpful in rounding up others to toil in their underground sugar caves.

With how crowded the Coast Guard is right now, I would just stick with the ship date you have. Enjoy your summer and use the time to prepare yourself.
But I have a buddy who told his recruiter that he could be ready to ship out within 24 hours notice if someone couldn't ship for whatever reason. And it turned out someone had to drop off and they called him and said "There's an open rack, if you can be ready in 2 days you can go, but we have to know now." and he ended up going on that bus to Cape May, about a month a half earlier than his ship date.
Im not saying it is common and that its a 100% possibility but I guess it's worth a shot =)
