hello all. I'm a college graduate (May '13), which, so far has only served to put me in debt

I've wanted to join the Coast Guard since I toured the USCGC Dillengence in middle school. Though there have been some detours along the way (Ex: spending a year in NROTC in college) I am excited to finally get the ball rolling.

Most of the ratings seem interesting, the only thing I know for sure is that I don't want to be an officer.

I'm glad to have found this resource

    v/r,

Welcome. This is a great resource indeed! It has contributed significantly to the start and hopefully beginning of my Coast Guard career.

Just a heads up, careful about your debt/income ratio. Im not sure if student debt is looked at differently but I would ask your recruiter.
