Trying to figure out what A-school to look into in order to do a fair amount of search and rescue?

There is no "A " School for search and rescue per se, as it's not a rating. Everyone is involved in SAR in some fashion. That being said, your best bet would be BM "A" School or MK "A" School.

Thank you, that answers my question perfectly. I knew there wasn't a search and rescue A-school but I just wasn't sure what job would involve the most search and rescue. I appreciate the response!

or AMT "A" school, or AET "A" school or AST "A" school. Aviation does a lot of search and rescue. It just depends if you want to be on a boat or in the air.
