My reserve unit is changing from a landing support unit to a med log unit. we have been given the options to ether stay with our unit and change mos, keep our mos and change units or get a conditional release signed and change breanches.(army, navy, air force, coast guard). I have chosen the active rouit and i'm unsure of how the process works and what I should be looking for.All this has to be done by april. Any advice or help on the matter would be great.

You'll need to contact a recruiter to start the process. You won't be able to straight from USMC Reserves to USCG Active. You'll have to apply and go through the selection process.

And there is zero chance that it would be done by April. You would have to have the signed conditional release just to begin the process with a CG recruiter. Then, it takes a month or two to get qualified, and then another several months waiting for a boot camp date. That's best case scenario.
You can meet the standard, or you can set the standard. It's your choice.
