I understand that different colleges accept different amounts of credits. However, generally speaking how many college credits can you usually get from training?(Boot Camp, A School, etc...)

I got 7 credits form boot camp, cant remember exactly what they are though. You will get other credits for A school and some C schools, but it totally depends on your rating and billet. I am an ET on an FRC and I was told (I haven't submitted it to the coast guard institute yet) that with A school and the bazllion C schools for FRC ET's, I should be one or two classes shy of an associates in science degree. that's mostly hearsay but I have been in and out of A and C schools (mostly in lol) for the last year so it's credible.

Just looked up the info about boot camp training and college credit. for boot camp you get credits for:
    Basic Seamanship (1 credit)
    Military Science (2 credits)
Personal Health And First Aid (1 credit)
Physical Fitness And Conditioning (2 credits)
    Swimming (1 credit)

how each college accepts these is entirely up to them though, some may not transfer over, but most will likely just be accepted as electives. and for the record, boot camp to an ET FRC Billet so far has gotten me about 35 semester credits so far... So it's a good rating to do if you want college credit

BM you'll get a bunch credits too, mostly criminal justice credits
Take what you like and leave the rest behind.
