Any veterans or retirees that were on the 255's...too long ago to want to remember? I was on the Wachusett in Seattle from 1971
to 73. Was also at Commcen CCGD13. Discharged in 74 as an RM2.

Welcome aboard. You are reaching pretty far back. I would love to get more old time Coasties on the forum. Please feel free to contribute with advice or just some good old sea stories. Glad to have you here. I thought my ex was Older Guard enlisting in 1985. You have him beat by a couple of years. LOL

I had served aboard the: USCGC CONIFER; LAUREL and BITTERSWEET in the mid 1970's. I had been a Seaman at the time.

Was stationed on the CGC Winona back in 72-73 Came back to Port Angeles on the 327ft CGC Campbell 79-80 For an electrician a steam ship is great, no engine room watches

Went on Klamath at Pier 91 Sep 1968. Made several Novembers and Westpac. May 1970 got orders to Gov Island as Gun school instrhctor. Seattle was a very cool place then.
Have attended several of the reunions held in Reno. Be nice to see more old timers attend.
