I answered 2 questions yesterday and now my answers are gone.  I gave good answers about the Coast Guard Academy admissions.  Is this moderated site against helping people get into to academy?

Will the moderator please PM me and let me know how and why my posts were out of line?

Was it because I directed someone to the serviceacademyforums.com forum to answer their questions.

I don't see any reason why the posts needed to be editied and deleted as I was only helping to provide information to a future coastie.

Drumming business? How could I drum business for the Coast Guard Academy? I gave good, honest answsers. The OCS question? One person asked about recommendation letters and the other asked about applying for the academy. How about sharing information that is beneficial to everyone here...the SAF (Service Academy Forums) is a good site just like this...but it is only for those interested in the Academies and ROTC.

I posted the same response to both people because they needed to hear the same answers.

Perhaps a guy like me isn't wanted on this forum as I want to help people get into the academy if that is their wish...and not enlist and go through the system.

    1eagledad,

I replied to your post in PM. I hope it helps.

I, for one, welcome our new insect overlords. I'd like to remind them that as a trusted Coastie, I can be helpful in rounding up others to toil in their underground sugar caves.
