I am a reservist and have a friend graduating from Army drill sergeant school this week. I didn't know if I should wear my trops or just civilian clothes. If it is acceptable to wear my trops should I wear my combo or garrison cover? Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

I'm sure there'd be no issue in wearing trops at an army base. Trops are an authorized liberty uniform anyway. If you do wear them, I think that a combo cover would be most appropriate for a ceremony like that, but garrison covers are authorized in that uniform too...

Trops are fine. I always recommend the combo cover. It's much better looking than the garrison cover

Usually the invitation tells you what military members attending as guests should wear. Just wear the comparable CG uniform. But without that, I agree that trops and a combo cover would be fine.
