I saw a similar post pertaining to DCE. Can anyone give insight on the typical first assignment locations for DCIO? Asking because I may be dual military by the end of the year and want to get an idea of what the chances are for my significantother and I to be stationed together or relatively close to each other.

I am dual mil (CG and AF) and we got stationed together..so it's very possible.

Significant other might be more difficult. Spouses they will attempt to co-locate if at all possible. Boyfriend, girlfriend, I don't think they're going to go out of their way. That is something I would research more closely.

I am pretty sure it would depend on the service of the other spouse. Navy and AF might be easier than say Army. I would look at a map of CG bases and list of your potential spouse's specific services bases and see how much of a matchup there is.

Yah I meant I might be married by the end of the year, so spouse.
