Can anyone provide me with both the due date for OCS packet submission for the next round of active duty candidate selection as well as the date the board meets?  Also, when is the due date for reserve officer OCS packets and when is the day the board meets?  I have read the USCG dates and forms section but had some difficulty interpreting it.

Lastly, at the ripe old age of 33 is it too late to apply?  I have been through MEPS and passed, scored a 99 on the ASVAB etc.

    Many thanks for your assistance,
    Chris

The next OCS panel due date is 11 January 2011. By this date, you must be finished with the entire process to include physical.
between the ages of 21 and 30 (applicants must have reached their 21st birthday, but not their 31st birthday as of 30 September of the fiscal year in which the panel convenes)

To apply for the SRDC (select reserve Direct Commision) program, you must have had credible prior service or be currently serving.
If you're considering joining the SRDC Program, here are some things you should consider first: you must make a four-year commitment to the Coast Guard. All applicants for the February 2011 SRDC panel must have prior military service. No waivers will be entertained for work experience equivalent to military service.

Age: Between 21 and 36 years old.
(Cannot have reached your 37th birthday as of 30 September of the year you apply)
I, for one, welcome our new insect overlords. I'd like to remind them that as a trusted Coastie, I can be helpful in rounding up others to toil in their underground sugar caves.
