My question is if my wife goes into labor while I'm in A school will I be able to go be with her at the hospital while she's giving birth? ( Please note that she will be in Elizabeth city with me because that's where my AN program is). Thanks

MY thoughts are yes. With that said, It is up to your command.

    Congrats on the upcoming child!

    I wish you the best?

Congrats on the baby, and A-school orders! Where are you stationed at now? I'm in Annapolis, and E-City is the 2nd closest AirSta (Atlantic City is 1st) and I'm HOPING I get to go to E-city for my Airman program.

She is not currently pregnant but my wife is on a pill to help us because we've been trying for two years and she was put on it before I received orders and she can't just stop taking it now I start  AN program next month ECity. I talked to some ppl up there and they said I may not get time off but I would be able to be there when my child was born if we are lucky enough to get pregnant. By the time we do I may already have graduated my only real worry is I would like to know if anyone else has gone through school with a pregnant wife and how hard was it for them?

Lots & lots & lots of Coasties, Squids, Ground Pounders, Fly boys... all branches have had their fare share of husbands who were away when the wife had a baby. It is an accepted part of military life. Is it loved by the wives? Nope, pretty much it isn't. But they manage. It isn't the worst thing in the world that can happen. You start your airman program next month, that's 4 months, then school... she isn't even pregnant yet. I hope the two of you get pregnant as soon as you would like but you don't even have a perspective delivery date. When the right little sperm attracts the right little egg at the singles get together... then start worrying about where you may or may not be! It will all work out and that's something to worry about when the time comes. Added stress on either of you will not get the end result you are both looking for. Relax, enjoy, have fun, learn your rate and life will happen while you aren't watching.
