    Could anyone tell me how long a standard deployment is for someone in a PSU?

    It really all depends on where the unit is going and what the mission is. Definitive answers are opsec but if you google it, this post from 2010 comes up: http://www.uscg.org/Forum/aft/8456.aspx

    This is a basic timeline and will most likely change on any given deployment to different areas, etc. Plus there are other natural disasters or events they deploy to also...Katrina, Haiti, 9-11, Rita, etc. Wish I could be of more help but at least this will give you an idea.
