    I was in the Air Force (active) for a yr and 2 months. I was honorably discharged. I had family issues to take care of. I'm thinking about enlisting to CG. Would I have to go through basic/boot camp for CG, through the "Pit Stop" 1 month program, or nothing at all?

    Also, does the CG have a dream sheet for choosing your base? Anyone know how the food service program is? Thanks!!!

    YES..there is a dream sheet but everything is based on the needs of the Coast Guard. As for your other question, hopefully someone can answer that for you. :-)

    My reading shows you did not complete a full contract. But it never hurts to ask a Recruiter. That doesn't mean you can't join, just that you'd have to go through full boot camp.... again. mad
