    I just still HATE the title! Coast Guard Alaska sounds like a state run militia. "The worlds deadliest waters protected by The United States Coast Guard in Alaska" But protected by Coast Guard Alaska, sounds militia like. I don't like the title!!!! I'm watching for Cable when it comes on!!! I hope I see him!!

    Seems like each episode is identical to each other. It's lost its luster. I stopped DVRing episodes.
    You can meet the standard, or you can set the standard. It's your choice.

    It does seem very repetitive but I can't stop watching anyway. Maybe it is like the train wreck you know is going to happen but you can't stop watching... LOL

    Well this episode had my attention, that's for sure! It was a small part, but I did get to see and hear my Master Helmsman! At minute 22 into the show you can hear my son over the loud speaker repeat what the man on deck said, "port ahead 2, starboard back 2". Then a few seconds later when the camera is looking at my (baby face) son at the helm he says, "steer course 175 aye."

    The re-run will air this Sunday night (13th) at 6pm and 8pm on the Weather Channel.

    I'm so glad you saw your boy! I have it set up to record on Sunday. I record 2 things on Wednesday already so I have to watch it later. But I am looking for that boy of yours!

    I'll have to go home and watch for him now. That's very cool you got to see him.

    Yes, lost it's luster a bit but I'm hoping they will start to cover different aspects like the cutters and small boast station duties.
