    I enlisted (reserves) in Nov 1984.  Does anyone have a copy of the Oath of Enlistment as it was back then...or is it still the same.

    I believe it is still the same. My ex enlisted in 1987 and I think it was the exact same oath our son took in 2009.

    Cool...I hoped to get a copy of the wording if anyone has it.  I can't find a copy of mine in my paperwork.

    I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice.     That is for all the Armed Services. Only the National Guard says something different. But that is why in a room full of shippers from MEPS they can all swear in together. All branches use the same oath.
