Just wanted to introduce myself, My name is Stephen, I'm from Columbia SC, but live in Myrtle Beach. I am a Criminal Justice major in College with a focus in Behavioral analysis. I am looking in to going into the CG now and finish up school, I just feel like that is where I should be right now. I have already posted in some forums as some of you awesome people have already responded and helped me out which I want to thank you very much for! Again I am getting started with the process and just initiated conversation with my recruiter. Hopefully will be joining you Coasties soon!

Well talked to my recruiter and as I have been told and have been expecting, there is a long waiting line to get in the CG, so looks like it will be awhile till I even get the time of day to get in. I'm not giving up though, I will wait and do what I have to, hey if it takes long enough I'll just get my bachelor degree and go in with a full degree I won't mind that, I'm tryin to get into officer school anyways and want to be a BM. Now the waiting games begin!

If you want to be a BM, you have to be enlisted. Officers do not have ratings like that. However, you could command a cutter, which I suppose would be pretty neat (not my cup of tea, but that would be why I am an OS )

Thank you, and yeah I would like to be something like a BM, but whatever gets me driving boats is what I want to do. Thanks for the encouragement, I'm still gonna start the process here soon.
