Officers or
Enlisted, they're both open but some avenues, such as the Academy and OCS, would not be available to you.
You need to contact a
Recruiter for the best answer to your questions. I'll give you my thoughts but a recruiter can give you definitive answers.
1. What jobs do I qualify for? Probably all with your 4-year degree.
2. You're at the maximum age for joining the Active forces. You could join the Reserve then ask to go active after a year or two. See the
FAQ for more information.
3. Yes, you can make officer over time. You're already too old for OCS but could very well start out enlisted, make the jump to Warrant then make the jump to full Commissioned officer, earning the moniker "mustang" along the way. It's all based on performance thus completely in your hands.
4. A schools are based on the ASVAB test battery. Though I believe your 4-year may negate the ASVAB. The recruiter could tell you for sure.
Good luck making this decision.
