I was wondering if you are still eligible for Tricare while on Reserve duty or is it only when you are on Active duty orders. |

| I, for one, welcome our new insect overlords. I'd like to remind them that as a trusted Coastie, I can be helpful in rounding up others to toil in their underground sugar caves. |

You have to pay for tricare health insurence, if you get hurt on CG duty then the CG covers your medical bills. |

When you're in Reserve status, you have Tricare Reserve Select (TRS), which is full healthcare with a monthly premium. Very reasonably priced, $192.00 per month for a family. When you go on active duty orders, you are disenrolled from (TRS) and you get Tricare Prime. No monthly premiums while on Tricare Prime. Once you're done with active duty, you are disenrolled out of Tricare Prime, and you have to enroll again into TRS. |

Does that mean I'll be disenrolled from TRS when I do my two weeks of annual training? |

No, you are disenrolled if you go on active duty orders for more than 30 consecutive days. You are medically covered during your two weeks of ADT in the summer, but it's not the full family version of tricare prime. |

| You can meet the standard, or you can set the standard. It's your choice. |
