    My name is Bonnie and I am from North Carolina. I have a long family history of Coast Guard members and before that Life Saving Station members. It's in my blood, I've always loved it. I finished my degree in my 20s and went through some bumpy roads. My degree is in GIS softwares and GPS devices mostly. I never really found my calling in life with a job, but I did stick around and helped my mother during her last years. I don't regret that.

    However, now I'm 30 yrs old and I will have to join as a reservist. I think it works out best since I do have a family. I really feel like the Coast Guard is where I belong, but I am straightening up some things on my credit history before I can join.

    Hope to learn all I can before that point and I am really keeping hopes high that I can go in.
