Need to know if the Vigorous was in the area of Grenada during the conflict that occurred there in the early eighties. I am pretty sure we were cruising through the lee-ward islands at the time and if so was that considdered a combat zone as per my taxf accessor's requirements for reduction in taxes

Why are you looking at taxes almost 30 years old?

As a Veteran, you are entitled to a tax reduction if your unit was in a combat zone. Grenada, Lebanon, are considered conflicts that are recognized and thus a veteran will receive property tax reduction. My DD214 only has where I was stationed and was refused by the local tax accessor as being eligible. My procrastination is the reason for the length of time in trying to find an answer. I visited my unit in Cape May and was informed that I have to contact Washington where the coordinates are probably in the archives. Thanks for  the input.
