I just went to the recruters office today. I am filling out my financial obligations paper now. When I go to mepps to get my medical stuff taken care of what do the do. I know they do a physical and a drug test. Is the drug test a pee or blood test? Do they do any sort of dental exam?(I have some cavities), should I get them taken care of before mepps? What do they look for in the dental part if there is one? Is there a phycological test? Is there a lie detector test? What testing is done at Cape May? |

Hi,
My daughter, Lyndsey, did her physical a couple of weeks ago. Basic physical, blood tests, I dont know about dental ( I do know that my older daughter was also in the Cg and she said make sure and get your wisdom teeth out before boot-cause they wont put you out for the surgery and you only get Tylenol and of course if you have healing problems -it could delay you graduating ) dont know about the other tests you asked about.

At MEPS you do a blood test, hearing test, vision, urine sample, and you get checked by a doctor (cough). You also do a series of squat walks, streches, and walking to detect any abnormalities. You don't do a lie detector test or any mental health tests. T |

You don't do a lie detector test or any mental health tests. They did examine my mouth, but it was by a MEPS doctor, I don't think he was a dentist. When you get to Cape May they do another test, and you're seen by a dentist. Let me know if you any questions. I ship out on 7/10. |
