I started talking to a recruiter July of last year while i was in my senior in High School and went and started filling out paperwork and all that fun stuff. I ended up not going back to the recruiter because i had a good job lined up after i graduated with out going to college. Turns out im not the type to sit in an office all day, and i really still want to continue to enlist in the CG but will this effect me in anyway shape or form?

No, people decide against it, get cold feet, get a better opportunity, whatever. Some decide to go back, some don't. Just get in contact with your recruiter and see what is still valid, what isn't and what's next. Welcome back and best of luck.

    That is correct.

The medical exam and ASVAB are good for two years. If all you did was talk to a recruiter, there's no guarantee that they still have your paperwork. I shred everything after 6 months if I haven't heard back from someone.
You can meet the standard, or you can set the standard. It's your choice.

Not a shock. If you get started now, you may get one of the earlier spots for FY 2014 if your recruiter deems you worthy. Most people wait 12-18 months between contacting a recruiter and shipping.
Honor: if you need it defined, you don’t have it.

Have to agree with FG, not a real surprise there. Recruiting numbers are really down, I believe someone said, nationwide they are only recruiting 1200 this year. That is in comparison to the average of 4500 a year for the last few years. But keep on pushing through and you'll get there.
