    Hi all, 
    I really want to enlist into the Coast Guard, and I am talking to a recruiter. I have been reading this forum a lot so i thought I would  say hi. My grandfather was in the coast guard for decades and retired as commander of the Petaluma station, so I have a family history.

    I would but he passed several years ago, Once i sold some stuff to a coastie on craig's list and he was curious about the "Coast Guard Academy 1948" cap that I have on display in my living room....
