my research:


you will not under go the chamber in boot camp. not sure about after, maybe if you have a certain job or if your on a LE team? i duno if anyone wants to shed some light on that.

you will not shoot the M-16 at boot camp. you will shoot the the 9mm, or they might be using the Sig Sauer P229R .40 S&W. ( i was told that they tried the Sigs at cape may but they tore up the range so they went back to the M9, not sure if they have made the range suitable for the Sigs yet).

according to the Helmsman you must perform the following to graduate:

PUSH UPS: Male-29 Female-23 (in 1 min.)
SIT-UPS: Male-38 Female-32 (in 1 min.)
1.5 MILE RUN: Male- 12:51 Female- 15:26
SIT AND REACH: male- 16.50" Female- 19.25"
COMPLETE SWIM CIRCUIT: Jump off a 5 foot platform into the pool, swim 100 meters, and tread water for 5 minutes.

Training for LE teams includes pepper spray to the chest for all personnel. You're not allowed to carry it until you've had the "training."

Unless things have changed there is no "gas" chamber training in the CG. Yet? There is CBR training on donning the mask but the practical application ala gas chamber was never instituted.
