My name is Joshua I am 21 and I have just submitted the online application on the coast guard website. I have been debating myself for the last year or so on if I would want to be apart of the coast guard, and I have happily come to the decision that I do. I took the practice asvab on the "4tests.com" site and scored 74 without studying. I don't know what that mean but I heard the average is 50.
I have been a life guard at all of the pools in my town. I have had experience with pretty much every pool situation besides a spinal injury. Strange to find that heart attacks are more common than someone hurting their back. Who knew. I like the idea of rescue and helping people.
I currently swim competitively and coach the younger kids on the team I swim with. I'm not a record breaker by any means. 52.90 100 freestyle (for those of you who swam.)
Looking forward to hear from all of you!
