When I ordered my uniform, I figured I'd order everything as proper as I could, so I ordered the Superboot III's. I've taken care of them, but I've noticed that, with regular work, they do get scuffed very easily. I've had pieces of toe material rip out in chunks before, requiring supergluing them back in place and repolishing the toe again. This hasn't been any kind of egregious abuse, either. Maybe working down on a carpet or cement floor kind of scuffing.
Has anyone else had this problem with the Superboot III's? Are these actually durable work boots, or are they really more of a "look pretty for inspections" kind of boot within the context of our active and reserve bretheren which have such a requirement?
