    hi there.
    taking our 80 lbs dog with us to hawaii. does anyone know the time window or the paperwork needed? he is going to vet this week anyways for his annual physical. he is current on all shots, and not sick or injured. he is 2 yrs. old. we have the crate, bowls, and baby benadryl needed. does he need a doggie passport? he is chipped and registered akc as well. thanks

    thanks. yeah im over that site. even sent an email and left a voicemail to get some help. its all confusing to me with the number of days and such to do this and that. im looking for a straight forward answer and cant seem to find one. if we ship sep 1st, when do i need to get the dogs stuff done? and what if his rabies shot lasts 2 years?

    I posted in your other thread but most people start on their dog stuff a few months in advance. Contact a vet in Hawaii and they might be able to lay it out for you. I've never brought a dog but I have two and will never take them out of the state and then back because it is such a pain.

    If you don't do everything in their time frame then the dog will have to sit in quarantine and you'll have to pay for it, so get on it
    Take what you like and leave the rest behind.
