    I let my mmd expire for qmed & other endorsements, i have been inactive for 11 years & the coast guard  regional exam center told me i had to apply for a new basic mmd which i did get in 07, then re-test . Now they are telling me that my previous sea time (total of 13 years) will not count so i have to start from the beginnig & sail for 180 day then retest  i have spoken to different schools & they say there might be some exceptions to the rules can anyone please clear this matter up
