    My friend talked to his cousin who is in the CG and was told that after only five years in the CG you get $20,000 for the rest of your life. The $20,000 is give to you for your retirement from the CG. That is a lot of money for being in the service for such a short amount of time. It sounds too good to be true. Is this true? Thanks.

    Well that sure is a stretch some imaginary truth. If your friend's cousin recieves that after only 5 years in the service it is from some sort of medical disability or something. The military does have a nice retirement package, but the lowest amount of service required for a normal retirement is 20 years. So in answer to your question, yes, it IS to good to be true.
