MEPS disqualified me for something that I don't have. On one of my medical records for my shoulder surgery says that I had a shellfish allergy and sport induced asthma.
They were just put down as precautions when I went to the doctor years ago by my paranoid father. I was never diagnosed with an allergy or sport induced asthma. I recently went to an allergy doctor and was tested. I was cleared by the doctor that I have no allergies and a note that says I was never allergic to shellfish. I was also tested for sport induced asthma and clearly states that I do not have it. There are no other records of sports induced asthma or a shellfish allergy, even with my family doctor.
My recruiter basically fell off the map and really doesn't know what to do at this point. Neither do I.
My concerns are if my possibility of joining the guard has been eliminated because of this? Should I try another recruiter? Is there anything I can do?
