I think I've lost this bet but I'll ask the experts here to help me pull a potential save!
I maintain that one does not need a coast guard license (Master of Vessels) to be properly licensed as a fishing guide for less than 6 passengers in inland waters NOT navigable to the sea (meaning lakes and reservoirs). However, I noticed in my seach of this site that although I can't find this spelled out specifically, I have found that the Master of Vessels application implies that I'm wrong. Or is inland water licensing requirements including USCG licensing left up to the individual states?? Hope you can help.....if not, thanks anyway!! Annie
