New to this forum but not to the military. Helping with some research for my son. I am familiar with the military, specifically the pathway in the USN. Through research I am finding that the pathway to USCG aviation appears to be a bit different. So looking for some input here.
Questions for those in the know:
Is there a direct pathway from University to OCS with a pre-OCS selection to the USCG aviation community in a pilot slot ?
I assume he needs to take the ASVAB or submit SAT/ACT scores for test waiver?
If he wants to enter OCS right after college graduation (spring 2020), I read somewhere that his packet needs to be in by this November (2019) - Confirm?
