I would love to enter the CG Reserves but I have a weight & Height issue. Can the auxillary be an option until I get the issue resolved? |

From www.cgaux.org: Applicants must be U.S. citizens, at least 17 years old, and pass a basic check. There are no upper age limits or height/weight standards, although for operational activities, you must be physically able to perform certain tasks. There are no minimum service hours – you can serve as little or as much as you want. |

The auxiliary is always a good choice. It will probably take you a good 6 months to get in there as well, although you can start working on your quals right away. It just takes a while for all the paperwork to be put through. Good luck! |

Jen-unfortunately - that happens. As it is all volunteer, many of us have "real jobs". I had to stalk my Flotilla Commander to get signed up. It also took about 6 months for all the paperwork to go through. Once you get in and get going though - it's fun. |

Is there a CG Auxillary in Louisville, KY. What can you volunteer to do; what jobs are there? |
