I don't know I recently found myself using google for just about any question I have, but now I got you guys lol . That's great I can say I'm reporting to bootcamp on the Coast Guard Bday. I think/hope I'll be mentally and physically ready for whatever they throw at me

Yea, I've memorized the first 5 of them, 've got some work to do physically though. I can tread water for 3 minutes, Run a mile in about 9 minutes, 20 pushups in a minute.

Cool, im still memorizing the orders myself i read about a great tip of recording myself saying them and putting it on my ipod it sounds like a quick way to learn them. Looks like if you keep it up you will be able to pass the requierments before we ship off. If you need any help with the P.T. I have lots of tips that would help you reach those requierments faster, just let me know..

Did you choose a guaranteed district? I chose district 9th. I want to get on a ice breaker.

If you elect for guaranteed district 9, you very well may end up at a small boat station or a buoy tender instead of an icebreaker. That's because, according to other posters, the picks from those who don't have a guaranteed district are processed first. Only after all of their picks have been assigned are the guaranteed district picks processed.

Assuming that is true, and if you really, really want an icebreaker, you might have a better chance without the guaranteed district. Just put down 'any icebreaker' on your dream sheet.

In N.Y.C. we have had lots of rain almost every single day this summer, if it wasn't raining its been very humid. We have rain in the forecast for the next ten days. Hopefully its not as bad once we get to Cape May but im sure it would still be pretty hot and humid..
