If you plan on being a Coastie... get used to ALL CAPS.  Everything the Guard releases in the form of mssages are always in all caps.  I took it right from the ALCOAST, no editing, including caps.

ACK!!!! I hate that... I have never in my life heard anyone say Joysey! And, if truth be told, I don't admit to that too much... I am happier say I am a Pacific Northwesterner! That is where I am much happier! :-)

    haha....

of course you have never heard it. why would you? i don't hear the accent people say we have around here. just like people in the south don't hear their accent. i am certain you have heard it many times~and just don't even notice it.

my middle daughter has had a speech impediment for years. has trouble with "ra" and r's in the middle of words. kids picked on her horribly here. we have been ready to ship her to boston for quite awhile.....no one there would notice! lol

Too Funny! I had forgotten I used to say that all the time

I used to claim that when I first moved here but they would was always ask "is that North of the Red River" and of course I am thinking well ya you complete dumb butt...they would then advise me that I was a "Yankee" plain and simple...:p

They wife says my Texas drawl really comes out when I am with the firefighters...fixin, y'all.

I tell her she is crazy in the head rolleyes

I don't mind being called a Yankee... but I don't think Scott would take to well with that idea. He was born & raised in Oregon, he"ll be the first one to tell you he ain't no Yankee. And to be honest, us true Yankees are happy for that! LOL :-)
