I chatted with Clemetine not to long ago back in September, she was doing good and planned to come over to take my firefighter entrance test...not sure if she made it or not, if she did she did not introduce herself...

Still stand on my thought that all teens age 16 should be sent to boot camp and serve for 2 years and then return back to finish high school and college… :-) :-) :-)

I would like to ask if it is ok to let my friend be in a residential treatment program. It is close to a school with wilderness programs. Yes, he does not only have an attitude problem but I guess dealing with troubled teens sometimes have that effect. Has anyone heard of turning winds? http://www.troubledteensinfo.com/Tr..._Programs/ , this site has a review on them. Any advice would help though.

First and foremost, this is a forum regarding the Coast Guard. I'm not sure what advice anyone will have for you as far as residential treatment programs. With that said, it really isn't up to you what your friend needs or does. If he/she needs a treatment facility and he/she thinks they need it or parents think their child needs it, you truly are not a factor.

I wish your friend the best of luck. But truly you will not get many answers here that will help with your questions. We just don't have the answers for you.
