Ahh, Littlemyers I feel as though I'm in the same boat that you were in. It's now Feb. 18th, my recruiter keeps telling me he's working on my March 9th BC date... I'm so anxious it's killing me! I just wanna know, yes or no! Going or not going!! Ahhhhh... patience... lol. Good luck to all of you going on Feb. 23rd though!! hopefully we'll all be shipmates soon enough |

SSetnicky-Yeah it's no bueno. I'm with you, I was good either way but just tell me. I guess it's actually still not "official" I'm going. The HQ in DC iis still snowed in so the guy who has to sign off on it is digging out of his driveway, hopefully he'll get that done today. Lol.

Haha, that's what my recruiter told me like a week ago he said they had barely anyone at HQ due to the snow. Damn snow... we got plenty of it here in NJ too on the coast, I'm as sick of it as they are... I wonder what it's like being at BC with all the snow there. |

Just got to the hotel, met my roommate Jonny (Synapse) and off to meet with the family for dinner/watchin USA kick Canada's ass in hockey...cant believe how close we are!! |

Yep, I just dropped Dan off at the hotel. He met Bryce. Nice kid. My huband and I will go see them swear in tomorrow morning. Then he's supposed to be released for a bit in the afternoon. Then we'll take him out for his last family dinner at a restaurant. He calling it "The Last Supper". Four months ago when Dan first got his ship date, it seemed like so far away. But now it seems like it snook up on us. I'm so happy for all you guys!.. and proud that you are going to be a part of something so great!

They let Devin stay home tonight, but he has to stay at the hotel tomorrow. I've been calling tomorrow night "The Last Supper", also. lol lollipop, it snuck up on me, too! ahhh I'm hoping April 16th will sneak up on me pretty quick, too!

Hanging out in the Denver airport with another recruit, nice to know there are 2 other girls flying out with me. Our plane is delayed a couple hours so nothing to do but hurry up and wait. One of our girls is missing and she has our packet, uh oh.

Ah I don't see how anyone could think it'd be easy!! My husband was really stressed because he was part of the group that's flight got to diverted to Ohio and couldn't get there till the next day. He thought he was going to be stuck in Ohio forever!

Southern, Thank you for explaining. If you were with them and it was something they said, now I understand. I'm sure my son wasn't one that thought bc was going to be a breeze. But I'm sure he mentioned that he's been through a boot camp before and he survived. Am I right?

I know this is really late but I just thought I'd clarify what Southern said. Yeah we were talking about Disney movies but we were stressed and scared and were just talking to put our minds at ease, and I'm pretty sure anyone thinking it was easy was just trying to be tough. We all worked our butts off at boot and every single one of us females knew it was tough going into it, during it and when we got out.
