I am thinking about joining the Coast Guards, and i need some info about dependents. I see that you can not have more than 2 dpependents, and i have a kid and another on the way. i am currently engaged, and nneded to know if a wife counts as a dependent. If we get married, would i be ineligable to join? do they have any kind of waver for this rule?

There is a waiver that can be placed for you. My husaband had four dep. at the time of enlistment. Now will have Five we are expecting. Your wife counts as one yes.
