Hi! I am a Coast Guard hopeful. I put in my application and am in the process of getting the required hospital forms to turn in, what my recruiter reffered to as the more extensive medical history form. I have been studying for the ASVAB and must say I am rather nervous. When I graduated high school I wanted to join the Coast Guard but my family did not like the idea and offered to pay for college if I did not enlist. So, I went to college, ended up getting married and having a child, who is almost 6 now. I am very close to finishing my bachelors degree. My husband is active duty Navy. I am now 26 and have decided I need to do this before it is to late, my husband agrees. Physically, I could be in better shape (cardio is my downfalll) but I am well below the weight limit for my height. I am moving back to the states next week and will be taking my ASVAB and going to MEPS a few days later. Wish me luck please, this is something I really want.
FINALLY took my ASVAB today. :) Now MEPS in two weeks. YAY!!!<!-- Edit -->
