    Hello i am Austin, i have been looking into the Coast Guard for quite awile now and am just waiting until my senior year to contact a recruiter, cant wait lol. I have been doing tons of research on it includeing watching all the videos and of course diging deep in these forums numerious times! I figured its time i actualy sign up to them and start geting really commited, im on my last semester until my seniour year so im way excited! I really cant wait to join you guys in saveing lives and makeing a difference its been a passion of mine. I would also like to thank everyone who dedicates some of there day on here to help us hopelessly lost wana be coasties, it means alot and just wanted to say i appreciate it!

    you are still in high school? another year before graduation? perhaps some spelling and grammar courses would be a bit helpful? a pet peeve of mine. no offense, i shread my own girls for it all of the time.

    good luck on your enlistment adventure. i hope it all turns out the way you want it to.

    No problem, sorry about that i am just so use to the text lingo and abbreviations that our younger generation seem's subconsciously acquire! Cell phones , the downfall of the English language! Thanks for the advice though, ill definitely pay more attention to my spelling and mechanics.
