ya i know right. i wonder iff ill be the only one lol jk. hopefully you do get a date it really gets you anxious to go, and gives you motivation if you have to drop some pounds or something |

seriously if you were the only one in your company you will get all the attention lol and you wouldn't even have to stay at bootcamp for 8 weeks!!! and you dont have to worry about anybody messing up and you having to do pt hahahhaha (like that will ever happen) im pretty anxious to get everything done but my recruiter is not doing what he suppose to do and im tryna get the show on the road you know!!! where you shipping out from?

What exactly is your recruiter SUPPOSED to be doing? Furthermore, do you think it's wise to call him/her out on a public forum?

Considering that the Coast Guard is full for the rest of this fiscal year, it would be nearly impossible to get the ball rolling. Anyone that doesn't currently have an active duty ship date will simply have to wait until at least next fiscal year, which begins in October.

Yes i have tired Gears still no answer!!!! and i know that it is closed but i was thinking about joining the reserves first then when AD opens up i can try n get into it!!

Has it occurred to you that your recruiter may have taken leave? Or, perhaps he's incredibly busy taking care of his fully qualified applicants. You aren't entitled to any of your recruiters time. Try showing him some respect and a little patience. Maybe you'll hear something from him.

Gears my recruiter is my cousin so their for he shouldn't just not answer me. I mean i know he is busy but i have been trying to get this show on the road for 6 months and he didn't get me anywhere!!!

My son is leaving 29 June 10 now. (originally 10 Aug 10) I am trying to get him on this msg board! I told the recruiter today I felt like a bit of a "helicopter parent" hovering over his future plans with the USCG (i'm really just like a lighthouse, guiding him to safety...yeah, that's it! :) )
