i think the mid term is if i remember correctly... final depends on what final your talking about. but im going to tell you now the stuff you learn in boot camp isnt hard. it will seem hard cause its all new to you but after awhile you will get the hang of it all.

When I was there last year the midterm was all open book, and the final was half open book and half closed book.
For seamanship class, I don't remember all that clearly anymore, but I don't believe that either the midterm or final were open book.

I don't mean to jack this thread but what about physical testing? Do they build you up or first time run must be 12.50minutes. First time swim must be 100meter,5min tread ect...

They build up slowly to the 1.5 mile run.
No building up for the swim test. If you don't make it you are put in remedial swim in the mornings until you are able to pass.
