    I belong to a small yacht club that is requesting a new floating dock configuration. It was brought to our attention that the docks must have a minimum of 50' from the end of the dock to the begining of a dredged area to a mooring field that is a harbour of refuge. The docks were designed to have a distance of 25'. Is there any Coast Guard regulations stating the width of a channel?

    Depending on the area the USACE might be able to define the channel for you
