    I've been using this forum for a while and it has been a great resource for me. I've been able to get most of my questions answered and it has really helped in making my decision to join the Coast Guard much easier.
    I live in the Midwest with my wife. I went to MEPS last month and past my physical. I took the ASVAB earlier in the spring and scored a great 97 on it. Now it's just a waiting process until my recruiter gets a better idea of when I will be able to ship out. I can't wait to be a non rate and get the chance to be able to see all the different rates first hand; instead of choosing something before I really know everything that goes into that job.
