    My son left on The Munro for the first time, after being at A School in Petaluma for 3 months. Just want to connect with anyone who has a loved one serving on The Munro .
    I am wondering if anyone knew when we can expect to hear from them again.

    kelly interent underway is done via satalite. and its very crappy up there. plus with they day to day routine of being underway your son is going to be busy with watch and stuff. im sure he is fine and give him time. remember no news is good news. but my guess is if you havent heard from him in awhile there are some internet issues on the boat. it always happens and its normal

    My daughter has ben on the Munro for over a yr now. We were up there in June..just beautiful. She emails...so feel free to email me @ katiensb@yahoo.com......

    My son is on the Alex Haley, which is moored next the Munro while in port. We talke all the time. I love SKYPE! I hope we can continue to video chat, e-mail, etc. when he goes underway. Though he's told me it won't happen because of the poor/slow satellite service.
