So I will be going to MEPS soon and I was trying to prepare by getting all of my personal records in order.

I got a paper from the justice center saying I have never been arrested, but can't seem to find any way to look up my traffic tickets. So I started looking for medical records and couldn't find these either. Is this something my recruiter can look up for me or is there an easier way to do this?

My last ticket was 3 years ago but I still feel it is safer to have ALL of my info. I would ask my recruiter personally but I feel like I have asked him a few too many questions this week and will give him a break

As long as your traffic tickets are paid, there are no outstanding fines or suspensions, I think just listing them should suffice. If not, you should be able to go to DMV and ask them for a copy of your driving record or your insurance company. They should have the information for you.

As for medical records, you will need to get those. Because of the HIPPA regulations and privacy and all that no one can request those on your behalf except another physician. Even then I think they need to have you sign a statement saying it is ok to release to another physician. Time to get dialing and call your current/former doctors. They should be able to get what you need.

Macie is correct you will have to personally visit your doctor/s and ask them for a copy of your records and then sign paperwork and all that stuff...HIPPA really regulates that type of stuff.

Your state DPS should have an online request form for you to use...here is Texas https://www.texasonline.state.tx.us/tolapp/txldrcdr/TXDPSLicenseeManager be sure to request the 3 or 3A, I require all of my fire academy students to provide me with their 3 driving record...good idea, my son had his for the recruiter as well...did not help but he had it...lol

How about your high school and/or college transcripts as well?

How many traffic/speeding tickets do you have in total?

I have my high school transcript, and for college I don't have enough credits to actually give me any added benefits so that's a moot point in my opinion.

On my medical form (2807-2?) I answered no to all the questions except for smoking cigarettes. So I was under the impression that I would only need medical documentation for the questions I answered yes to. True? False?

Last traffic ticket was in 2007, i probably have 4 or 5 all together.

That is correct (true) to my understanding...

    Cool deal.

Looks like I will be making a trip down to the police station for my traffic history. Fun day...

Don't get any more speeding tickets, or you will disqualify yourself.

Just updating. Got through MEPS, was a ton smoother than I thought it would be, and passed my ASVAB with a score I am very happy with. Now i am just playing the waiting game to hear good news from my recruiter and for my credit check to come back. Apparently after everyone passed and is qualified, they look and compare the hopefuls and make their choices. Wonder how long that will take? Crossing my fingers! :-)

It's hard to say how long it will take. That is entirely up to your recruiter and his or her recruiter in charge. Hopefully, it won't be too long for you.
