    Does anyone know what the waiting list is for HS? I have heard about a year to 18 months. Im curious if that is still the case or if it is even longer. Do you get put on the waiting list the day you graduate bootcamp? Im a little unsure on how that works.

    The estimated wait time says 18-24 months. I would venture to say that it will be more towards 24 months. You are eligible to put your name on the A-School list after you have been at your unit for 4 months. Some units also make you be fully qualified before they sign your chit, so in some cases it might be a little while longer.
